There are two main offices here at Concordia University who will help
you along the way:
The International Student Affairs Office for Undergraduate Programs
(GM 201-7) at the John Molson School of Business is here to guide
you through the application process. We run ISEP Information Sessions,
ISEP Application Sessions, ISEP Pre-Departure Sessions, we assess your
courses abroad for course equivalencies and awarding of credits, and we
are here to welcome you home and help you with transferring your credits
back to Concordia.
You will be submitting your completed application to our office. A
decision on your file in made after carefully reviewing your
application, and after you have undergone an interview with our office.
We at the JMSB will ultimately decide if you will be allowed to
participate in the ISEP. Once we approve your participation, we send
your original application to the CIAC, who in turn forward your
application onto your chosen host institution.
What is the CIAC?
The second office that will help to guide you through the ISEP is the
Centre for International Academic Cooperation- CIAC (WC-101). The
CIAC staff specializes in international exchange programs and is the
academic link between Concordia University at large and all host
institutions abroad. Once your file has been approved by the JMSB for
participation in the ISEP the CIAC is responsible for sending
your original application to the host institution, receiving and
distributing the host institution’s decision letter and acceptance
package where applicable, receiving official transcripts from the host
institution and ensuring that the Office of the Enrollment Services
credits your transcripts accordingly.
The CIAC also houses a large library of host institution
information, course calendars, campus guides, etc.. If you are not sure
of where you would like to study, the CIAC can help you! Contact
Ms.Geraldine Ford to find out what the CIAC can do for you: Tel:
